An important note: The
comparison shots of the default FSX scenery and MegaSceneryEarth have
been replaced (1-08-09) with Auotgen *off* to give a better
comparison. FSX and Nvidia settings for the MegaSceneryEarth
screenshots are here, screenshots done
on the Falcon box.
A couple of screen shots of the new
MegaSceneryEarth
series in
FSX SP2/XP Pro SP2, as well as 6 shots in FS9.1/XP Pro SP2, with the Aerosoft
Manhattan scenery, as a reference. One notable feature in
MegaSceneryEarth is that there's actually a grid
in
Manhattan that runs the correct way, as compared to the FSX dafault
;-). Take a peek at the MegaSceneryEarth
series, it
may or may not be worth it to you. Screenshots done on the Falcon box.
The .jpg shots are < 1MB each, barely, all pics will open in a new
window, click to enlarge to full size :-)Note 1: The FS9 shots
have some missing surrounding add-on scenery (BEV), which I disabled so
as to just show Aerosoft Manhattan. Note 2: The
original images are 1920x1200. The images are best viewed at the native
resoulution of your monitor.
More FSX/FS9 screenshots, links etc. here .
Note that the screenshots are from theidentical space in FSX (hence the coords on the screen);
the nature of
scenery design causes the 'jumping' around. Note to IE 7.x users: For
some reason unknown to me the thumbs aren't centered on the page. Hey,
do yourself a favor, get a real browser :-)
